Concept Art with Terraform Studios

THE MISSION: To give diverse high-school students hands-on exposure and experience in creating content in a virtual setting with professional artists.

WHAT IS THE BRIC CREATIVE ACADEMY? A project challenge for teams to ideate, develop, and produce new content.  Types of content and topics will vary.

WHAT SCHOOLS PARTICIPATED? USC Media Arts & Engineering Magnet, Compton Early College High School, West Adams Preparatory High School, South East High School, VAPA, Manual Arts High School, Bonita High School & more.

WHAT WAS THE CHALLENGE? Students created alien environments and creatures

HOW DID IT WORK? Terraform Studios did an art jam with the students and guided and mentored them on their projects. They collaborated on Magmastudios free collaborative drawing web-based software and were able to send in their final art for additional critique from the artists. Students from USC Media Arts & Engineering Magnet, Compton Early College High School, Folsom High School, South East High School, VAPA, Manual Arts High School, Franklin HS & more attended.
