How You See What You Just Saw with Nickelodeon Animation Studios

THE MISSION: To give diverse high-school students hands-on exposure and experience in creating content in a virtual setting with professional artists.

WHAT IS THE BRIC CREATIVE ACADEMY? A project challenge for teams to ideate, develop, and produce new content. Types of content and topics will vary.

WHAT WAS THE CHALLENGE? Learn about the building blocks of an animation episode.

HOW DID IT WORK? Students started off our Creative Academy by watching an episode of Middlemost Post. After the episode finished, they got to break down the episode in the "How You See What You Saw" Q&A, where students got to learn about the development, writing, and character design building blocks of the show. Last, students ended with an Art Jam session where they got to draw with Middlemost Post artists.
