Hello Future Career Fair
On October 23rd & 24th, BRIC Foundation’s Nicole West, Melanie Augustyn Hoffman, Nicole Hendrix, and Jill Gilbert participated in the LA Promise Fund’s Hello Future Career Fair.
Over two days, LA Promise Fund immersed 12,000 young people ranging from middle and high school girls to local college students of color in STEM, making Hello Future the largest STEM conference for young people of color in the nation.
The goal of Hello Future is to empower students to say hello to their professional futures and to see themselves in STEM careers. BRIC contributed to this event by providing a break down of jobs in animation, live action, and games into STEAM categories.
