Daniela Bayon
Equity Product Marketing Lead, Consumer at LinkedIn
Daniela Bayon (she/her/ella) is the Product Marketing lead for LinkedIn’s Equity Strategy efforts for members, where she leads go-to-market initiatives and builds new product experiences to create more equal access to economic opportunity, specifically for historically marginalized communities. She’s passionate about uplifting QTPOC voices through storytelling and the intersection of social justice and tech.
Originally from the Bay Area, she started her career in public policy and community affairs. Her arenas included LGBTQ+ rights, racial justice, tenant’s rights, advocacy for survivors of sexual violence, and arts+culture as a method for social change. She’s developed marketing strategy and campaigns to increase community engagement for government and non-profits alike, from the California Coastal Conservancy to Black Girls CODE.
Since her jump to the private sector, Daniela’s led go-to-markets at various start-ups and LinkedIn, with launches like New Recruiter and Jobs (the largest product launch in LinkedIn’s history) and thought-leadership campaigns like LinkedIn’s first ever Gender Insights Report. Before focusing on member equity, Daniela led Equity customer marketing for LinkedIn’s largest business unit, where she created educational campaigns to empower and inspire 10K+ companies to drive more equitable outcomes in the workforce through inclusive hiring and talent development practices.
Daniela lives in Oakland, CA. In her free time, you’ll find her cuddling 3 cats, enjoying forest hikes, and watering her 30+ indoor plants. One thing not on her LinkedIn profile? She’s helped rescue and find forever homes for 24 feral cats and kittens.
