Angela Alise

Producer, 9B Collective

 

Angela Alise is a performer, writer and producer born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. She has a BA in Theatre and Sociology from Loyola University Chicago. While living in Chicago, studying acting and comedy, she also served as Artistic Director of The Prologue Theatre.

Working for prestigious companies like The Goodman and The Second City, she became a 2018 NBC Universal Bob Curry Fellow, and co-wrote sketch material found in nationally touring shows like Black Side of the Moon, and Felonius Munk’s Nothing to Lose But Our Chains. One of her last projects in Chicago was her self produced music video "Doppelganger", available on all streaming platforms.

Angela is now living in Los Angeles where she works as a producer for the 9B Collective. 9B Collective is the first Black-Owned Concept Art Studio made up primarily of BIPOC artists and founded by Phillip Boutté Jr., Mike Uwandi, and Aldis Hodge. A working television actor, she can be found in the short film LINING now on The Roku Channel, as well as Perry Mason and South Side on Max. Her most recent project, Star Vehicle, which she co-produced and stars in, just finished a successful festival run.
