Arnon Manor

VP of VFX at Sony Pictures

 

Arnon Manor wears a few hats in his professional life. He is Vice President of Visual Effects at Sony Pictures, where he manages the visual effects on the studio titles, and is also an independent filmmaker, writer, producer and director. Most recently he directed and produced the acclaimed Netflix animated short, Cops and Robbers. Arnon grew up in Europe, where he started his career as a CG animator and visual effects artist, then moved to the US where he continued to create content as a filmmaker, as well as creating visual effects on countless features as an artist, supervisor, producer and, for the past ten years, a studio executive. His range of visual effects credits include the French classic, The City of Lost Children, comedies such as This is the End, The Interview, 21 Jump Street, action movies such as Captain Phillips, Fury, The Equalizer, and CG hybrid-animated movies such as Stuart Little 2, Garfield and Peter Rabbit. Arnon also heads the Education Committee at the Visual Effects Society and is one of the leads for the PGA's BIPOC in Animation and Visual Effects Working Group.
