Hi, I’m Emily San Vicente, an aspiring director and photographer with a passion for creating stories that inspire and leave a lasting impact. For me, the best part of being a creative is knowing my work can live on after me and connect with people in meaningful ways. Growing up in Compton, my community has been my greatest source of inspiration. But I’ve noticed that places like Compton, Crenshaw, Inglewood, South Central, and Watts don’t get the representation they deserve on screen. My dream is to change that by creating stories that make people from these communities feel seen, heard, and celebrated.
