Michael Kurtz

Talent Partner 

With 10+ years of experience in talent strategy and production development, Michael Kurtz is FuseFX’s Talent Partner, handling all full-cycle recruitment for the East Coast (NY and ATL offices).

Michael began as a Creative Recruiter for the CB Network and spent 3 years overseeing entertainment contracts and reviewing pitches for film and television series across the US. Michael then worked for a NY film production studio where he sourced and advertised talent on YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook. Later, he moved onto RT Associates, a leading staffing agency in the US, where he represented and connected Animators and Copywriters to Warner Media, Google, Atlantic Records, and Live Nation.

As our NY and ATL Talent Partner, Michael seeks to diversify the VFX talent pool, and represents those in need of a voice. He has also overseen the sourcing and hiring for FuseFX’s Apprenticeship Programs, by partnering with colleges, such as SCAD, the DAVE School, and Full Sail University.
