Rabia Abedin, with over 12 years in HR, Talent Acquisition, and DEI, currently serves as the Sr. Manager of Early Career Programs & Diversity Outreach at DreamWorks Animation, part of NBCUniversal's Filmed Entertainment Group. In her role, she spearheads programs to cultivate emerging talent, create inclusive experiences for underrepresented groups, and build meaningful partnerships with nonprofits and foundations to advance BIPOC representation in the entertainment industry. Previously, she was in HR and Campus Recruitment at The Walt Disney Company and in Diversity & Belonging at Live Nation. Rabia is passionate about enhancing BIPOC representation and advocating for those who traditionally face barriers to entry. A native of Los Angeles, she currently resides in San Diego with her husband, who serves as a US Navy Lieutenant, and their toddler.
