Jennifer Vera
Producer at Walt Disney Animation Studios
Jennifer Vera first joined Walt Disney Animation Studios in February 1999 as a production assistant on several hand drawn shorts. She then went on to support the production of several films including “Lilo & Stitch,” “Bolt,” and “Tangled,” before serving as production manager on “Wreck-it Ralph” and the Oscar®-winning, “Big Hero 6.” More recently, Vera was associate producer on “Raya and the Last Dragon” and was co-producer of Disney Animation’s 2022 title, “Strange World.”
She grew up in Clarendon Hills, Illinois where her passion for animation started at a young age. Vera remembers watching classics such as “One Hundred and One Dalmatians,” “Cinderella,” and “Sleeping Beauty,” holding a love for the villains just as much as the stories themselves. She participated in the Disney College Program in Walt Disney World while attending the University of Iowa, and stayed in Orlando to begin a career in live action film and television production before joining the Disney Animation studios in Florida.
Vera is currently a producer at Walt Disney Animation Studios. She lives in Pasadena and is often on the lookout for a rescue dog to help guard her fiddle leaf fig and persimmon trees.
