David Sharples is an Independent Producer & Creative Executive currently developing series with world class Creators, Studios and best-selling Children’s Book Authors. David’s joy of cooking up super-fun worlds and character-driven stories since childhood has led to a career spanning over 20 years in Animation. With experience across multiple genres and demos, he produced several series including the Tween/Comedy hits 6teen and Total Drama Island (Cartoon Network), before following his true calling: Creative.

David has since become a multi Canadian Screen Award winner, leading Creative from script to screen on the worldwide preschool phenom PAW Patrol (Nickelodeon), and most recently oversaw Creative Development and Series Creative shepherding the magical Action/Adventure Unicorn Academy (Netflix).
