Entertainment and Media Fellow, Disability Belongs™

Aaron Potter (he/him) is an Entertainment and Media Fellow in Disability Belongs™’ National Leadership Program for Spring 2025. An award-winning actor, writer, and filmmaker with more than 15 years of experience in film and television, Potter created two feature independent films and four short films. Potter has received several global accolades from multiple prestigious film festivals, including Best of Fest (International Short Film Category) at the Catalina Film Festival for his latest venture Secret Sweets which first premiered at the TCL Chinese Theater as part of the Dances with Films official line-up. After moving from the UK to Los Angeles, he signed with Arise Artists Agency and co-starred in the upcoming series Good American Family for Hulu & ABC. Potter has a long history of dedicated work to social causes, specifically suicide prevention and raising awareness around mental health, domestic abuse, addiction, LGBTQ+ visibility, promoting adoption, accessibility, and opportunities for disabled people.
