Deputy Regional Director of Strategic Partnerships for the State of California’s Division of Apprenticeship Standards

Paul Giacomotto is the Deputy Regional Director of Strategic Partnerships for the State of California's Division of Apprenticeship Standards. Paul leads a team of advisors and consultants who educate employers on the registered apprenticeship model and assist in the develop and service of registered apprenticeship programs throughout California. This statewide effort brings life changing skills, education, and opportunities to Californians and spans a variety of workforce sectors from healthcare, information technology, transportation, agriculture, advanced manufacturing, the public/civil service and more.

Prior to joining the State of California, Paul accumulated over 15 years at Penguin Random House as a Program and Licensing Manager. During his tenure, he oversaw a multimillion-dollar portfolio of AAA video game and entertainment companies across the globe. He also takes great pride in his dedication to high school and club volleyball coaching which provides a valuable opportunity be a positive influence and give back to his local community.
