Vanessa is a creative strategist and community builder with more than 15 years of experience building talent pathways and partnerships across media, philanthropy, and social impact. Her work spans film and television, music, immersive media, and digital content, with a focus on widening access, strengthening creative communities, and using storytelling as a vehicle for lasting cultural and social change.
As Director of DEI Pipeline Programs at Warner Bros. Discovery, Vanessa led industry-first talent and workforce development initiatives, including the HBO Max x Access Animated Shorts Program, Warner’s first registered apprenticeship in VFX, and the UK’s first Virtual Production Trainee program with HBO’s House of the Dragon. More recently, she led Community Strategy and Engagement for Agog: The Immersive Media Institute, supporting creators and nonprofits using immersive storytelling for social good through labs and residencies, resource networks, and funding. Originally from Montreal and based in Los Angeles, Vanessa brings a global perspective and a sustained commitment to centering underserved voices and cultivating the next generation of creative talent and changemakers.
