Vice President of Talent Acquisition, Skydance Animation

As Vice President of Talent Acquisition at Skydance Animation, Robin McDonald is in charge of designing and implementing recruiting strategies in order to attract top-level talent and identifying hiring needs for the fast-growing studio. She currently oversees Talent Acquisition between the Los Angeles and Madrid locations. During her time at Skydance Animation, the studio has expanded to include more than 350 creatives across the two countries.

Prior to joining Skydance Animation, Robin headed recruitment efforts at Silicon Valley start-ups such as Twilio and Pullstring, and served as a Senior Recruiter for 7 years at Pixar Animation Studios where she was responsible for hiring technical talent. She resides in California with her cat Zazu.
